On to my post. My Holidayfor this hop is Tropical Hawaiian Day. What a great way to get out of the winter blues and start thinking about summer time. I love spring and summer weather. Here CA we have been having alot of rain. I'm so ready for the nice spring and summer weather. I made a Tropical Hawaiian Card to share with you. Enjoy!!

Ugly Paper Challenge

Michelle challenged us to use our Ugly Paper. It was so hard to find some ugly paper. I don't think this is very ugly but this is a paper that I wouldn't use very much so I thought I would use it for the Ugly Paper Challenge.

The Bunny Hop Blog Hop March 19-March 20

Welcome to Beyondscrapin's blog. Easter is coming upon us. What a great hop to get everyone ready with there Easter projects!! I wanted to share an Easter Scrapbook Page Layout with you. I made the bunny from punches and so are the Tulips.

Tulip Tutorial

Each Tulip takes 3 Ovals and I base

Punch 3 ovals from 4 different color of CS shade around each oval with coordinating color ink

Layer 2 ovals overlapping each other slightly to form base. Layer 1 oval over all in center using 2 way glue.

Punch out Old Olive 1" Circles for small Tulips, and 13/8" Circles for larger Tulips. With paper snips, cut Free Hand Base of Tulip

Layer over Tulip using 2 way glue. Set aside

Using paper snip cut 4 stems out of old olive cards stock. About 1/4" wide. Set a side.

Jenn asked everyone that is her hop to come up with a project that has a Turtle in it. I made a birthday card using a turtle. The turtle is made with Stampin' Up! punches. The stamp set that I used in the background is Inspired by Nature stamp set.

This is how I made the turtle

1- 13/4" circle punch

1- 1-3/8" circle punch

1- 3/4" circle punch

4- 1/2" circle punch

7- 1/4" circles punch

For the eyes I used googlie eyes.
